Nothing short of quality in this product June 26, 2010

This printer becomes extremely handy in printing out pictures from our blackberry phones. How is this done you ask well take this usb bluetooth dongle [...]
the printer will recognize it and allow you to send pictures from your mobile phone via bluetooth and VOILA! it will print them.
Other than that the printer is extremely useful in printing those pictures that you really want quickly.
Reason for 4 stars? Well as others may have mentioned the ink is not very cost effective however the convenience makes up for it. But the cost of the ink vs. the amount you prints you will actually get from each cartridge can vary depending on the quality of the picture taken.
Overall I do recommend this printer I actually got it at a discount because it was a "discontinued item" for target. The only thing that would make it optimal is if I had the rechargeable battery to make this a fully portable unit.
Will try to print from more phones via bluetooth to see how that works out and update. So far this has worked flawlessy with the Blackberry Storm and Curve send the picture by bluetooth after you have paired the two devices.

Sorry to say that this printer would not align or accept the photo paper. I had it for one month and they told me that it was not under warranty. I had a suckey
experience with this printer. Never got to use it. Hoping i get a refund. HP people were not so willing to help. They blew me off. Sent it back after one and a half
months that I had it. I did not even get to use it.

I've had this little guy for well over a year now, and I just keep using it more and more and it's great! I love the 5x7 size and photo printing is amazing. There is a really cool feature where you can print 2 or 4 photos per 5x7 page and that is great for my scrapbooking. I create really cute pages with a mix of sizes. It's really easy to use, but I wish I could figure out the cartridges. Sometimes, I get tons of photos, while others print off hardly any. Not sure why that is... but the printer itself is really amazing and I wouldn't trade it in for anything!

I really like the printer I purchased. I like the older model of the compact printer because the screen size is larger and much easier to look at. I do think that the screen size is a significant consideration when purchasing a photo printer. The printer is somewhat slow, but is very easy to use.
